I go up the stairs step by step
My legs are heavy and I am growing tired.
I know what is at the top of the stairs, so I keep going.
It seems as if they will never end. I go step after step after step.
And then I make it to the top of the staircase and suddenly feel, different.
I feel young again and my legs feel strong. I am not tired but energized. I am so
Focused on the new me when I suddenly hear a deep, warm voice. It fills me with warmth
And I turn around. I can’t see a human but I feel that someone is there. The voice laughs a deep, hearty
Laugh and I do not feel unsure, more like hopeful. I look around me and all I can see is a blue richer and softer then any blue I have ever seen before. I realize that I am in God’s own kingdom, Heaven.
