What its really like
When your words feel empty,
And you’re happy is never enough,
Cause all you feel is an Emotionless black hole inside your heart.
That’s what depression is really like
We don’t fire pity on ourselves,
We are not monsters, just a little more human than the rest
We fall harder, trust easier and cry far more tears then our friends
We let the worst people in because we thought they were good,
Just to prove ourselves wrong, because they are just cruel.
They fire the first shots, and we bleed out everything we ever knew
The ones we though we trusted the most,
They are the ones who push us off the edge.
But they will never learn, we will survive after all this
After all we don’t want to love,
Because we know that all that comes from it is the chains.
The chains that always come after the heartbreak.
After all this hell we will go through,
We will be the last to stand on this unforgiving ground we once trusted
