Losing Faith

Walking off the mat head down

I take a glimpse up in the crowd,

I see people pondering “is this the end?’

All because I didn’t win.

I question life all in itself

As I slowly lose faith in myself,

Sometimes I wish I didn’t begin

All because I didn’t win.

I’m tired of losing

I want what I deserve,

I work so hard

And am still unheard,

I’m about to be done

I’m ready to quit,

All this sad emotion

I can’t handle it,

It’s all too confusing

The mess my life is in,

I’m silently losing faith

All because I didn’t win!

It’s more than 2 weeks after

And I’m still a disaster,

I’m not sure if I’ll ever mend

All because I didn’t win.
