Wouldn't You Do the Same?
The moment the day becomes the night, I close my eyes and my heart fills with fright. Nothing changes because I'm still in the dark and I still can't see. Never again will I look into the eyes of the ones who hurt me. It's all because I opened my eyes to let some light in. I guess I'll just sew them shut so I'll never have to see hurt again. I'll open them wide during the say and sew them shut at night. Wouldn't you do the same if the second you fell asleep, your dreams turned into terror and fright?
