Understand what She feels
as you walk away
Listen to Her as
you leave her to stay
How did you think She would feel? Did you expect her to cry? Did you want her to smile? Did you want her to fall and not get up for a while?
Surely you knew it would hit Her like this,
you packing up
and shacking up somewhere else
Leaving Her to fend for Herself
Surely you knew it'd hurt Her inside
Know the pain your words caused
the pain you injected
She's still not the same
and you're not around
but simply She laughs
because She's better now
