Depression
The way I feel
No one will ever understand
The pain and sorrow
That haunts in the light
And that torments in the night
I can see the light
But have no way to reach it
Nearly everything I see
Reminds me of the pain that never fades
Most that I do
Reflects how I feel
Though I try to hide it
Some days it seems as if
Giving up would be so easy
I try to remind myself
I have so much to live for
And that people would miss me
If I were gone
But I still can’t help but wonder
What the end feels like
