Silence is frightening.
It’s blank, desolate, and dark.
I’d rather be stuck in a storm, listening to the thunder and lightening.
If I’m lucky, I’ll hear the sorrowful song of a lark.
Silence is a sort of claustrophobia.
The walls of nothing close in.
This was God’s worst idea.
Sometimes my head just needs to spin.
I’m afraid of the quiet.
I need music, chatter, and noise.
One day I guess I’ll start a riot.
Maybe that will return all the things that silence destroys.
Silence is not peace.
It isn’t a way to escape.
It’s a way for evil to release.
It’s an opportunity for good to be bent out of shape.
Silence is a disease.
It will catch you at the worst of times.
It will knock you to your knees.
It will persuade you to commit crimes.
Don’t let it get to you.
You WILL make it through.
