White Flowers
I stand alone in a field
To waste all my hours
I have much to waste
So I wish on white flowers
I wish on white flowers
That we never tried to leave
That sweet paradise of ours
Because now I can’t breathe
I wish on white flowers
That I could be more than air
You pass right through me
As though nothing is there
I wish on white flowers
To fix what is broken
To go back in time
To make words unspoken
I wish on white flowers
To talk one more day
To laugh and be yours
And have it all be okay
I wish on white flowers
To have never gone through
All the things that we did
Because I hate wishing on you
