Child Memories
I will always love my Mom and Dad
I'll never forget what we always had
they used to call me splash
because with cups I would crash
The look on their face
can never replace
the memories we shared
or how much we cared
The feeling we had
could never be sad
the happiness was no lie
with all the money you couldn't buy
In a way we were just like each other
and it some how angered my beautiful Mother
but our memories can never disappear
even if the never reappear
I love them with all my heart
now you could never set us apart
they bought me my first easy bake oven
the things I made were filled with lots of lovin'
He tucked me into Mom's big bed
and kissed me gently on my head
that was the last time I saw his face
I was at a sad lone place
six years since Moms been gone
an eternity, a lightyear, a lifetime, man it's been long
