Butterfly
I see field after field of nothing,
walking aimlessly, feeling lost.
Everything feels shut out.
Except at the sight of a butterfly,
my life slowly comes back into my control.
Thank you Grandma, you saved me.

This is piece is a korean form of poetry called a sijo poem. I really enjoyed writing this poem becuase it is about my Grandma who I lost when I was very young. It shows the struggle teenagers go through with a little twist at the end.
