Hollows of the dark
i pray for peace, the war that is waging on between my heart and mind
i was so drunk on love i never seen how you truly felt
my mind had knew all along
my heart did as well, but it never wanted to admit it
the way you had said her name held so much love
it never once matched up of how you said mine
i knew there was history between the two
deep down i knew my love was never once enough
i was drunk on how you loved me
but i just made you tipsy
while the other was the one who made you feel nothing before
my mind is telling me to let you go
but my heart is waiting fot you with open arms
ready to repeat the love for you over again
i want the war to end, i am tired of how it is never ending
but here i still stand, waiting for you with love
eventually, i will be sober and over you
the war would of ended
and then, only then will i be free

This is my first time publishing something of my own to the public. It had to do with my ex someone who I loved dearly. I hope some of you can relate to it or if not just like it.
