Three poems for my three siblings
Awrah
A cute little tween, a sister of a queen
With eyes as brown as milk chocolate
Really kind, with a heart so delicate
Admiring the world with her sweet voice
Happy to see her always like the sunrise
Amdhi
A dear little lad, a frenemy I had
Making a show of his karate skills
Difficult to understand like steep hills
However, he has a heart of gold
Inside his social image that's bold
Aara
Alluring little girl, as cherubic as a pearl
Always makes it better like a beach-curl
Really adoring like her name, but also wild
Always we shall see you as a child

Awrah, Amdhi and Aara are sort of, my first friends. Awrah and Amdhi are currently 12. Aara is currently 6. Many of my acquaintances who would read this, would misunderstand me due to knowing that Awrah and Aara are my cousins (mother's sister's daughters) and Amdhi is my own brother. But, Awrah and Aara are no different to me from Amdhi. I consider all three of them as my siblings and always say that the sibling your heart closes is not different than the sibling that the Almighty chooses for you. Personally as a girl, if I have a problem, I would feel more relieved to share it with Awrah or Aara other than with Amdhi because they are girls. But, I love all three of them equally and unconditionally.
Even though I love them so much, I haven't been able to pay my gratitude to them for being my dearest siblings even when we fought (Awrah and I used to fight a lot but now we never do so. Aara and I fight sometimes and I fight with Amdhi a lot too.) Still, I love ALL THREE OF THEM a lot. I owe them a REALLY BIG THANK YOU and also a HUGE SORRY.
I didn't give them anything for their birthday (Awrah-Jul 7, Amdhi-Aug 13 and Aara-Aug 19) and tomorrow (29 Dec) is my birthday. So, I decided to write a poem about each of them and post it here in TeenInk and today seemed to be the best day to post it. So guys, Belated Happy Birthday wishes to Awrah, Amdhi and Aara!!! Lots of love as this is completely dedicated to the three of you.
