Anxiety
I can hear the clock ticking.
Ticking as my heart pounds.
My heart is receiving a hug
though there is not many around.
I feel my teeth shivering like the cold,
December wind blowing across my body
making every nerve aware of my consciousness.
My legs begin to shake
as if I am being woken from a long nights sleep.
I am fading.
Fading slowly with anxiety.

Struggling with something that makes you feel as if you are less of a human being than everyone else is extremely difficult. I hope that sharing this can make everyone more aware that they aren't alone in the the things they go through, and that someone out there is feeling the same way.
