I am unknown.
Spread out amidst millions of others,
Owning nothing but a memory stone.
Life is told to be full of adventures,
And I, unfortunately, cannot locate my own.
Trembling amidst the winter coldness and roaring storms,
Envying all who can survive with nothing but a whine.
Dread. Dried. I am isolated like a thin, fragile line.

The author's comments:

The poem aims to engage the audience and reflect introspectively on people’s maudlin feeling of being isolated. The author believes that anyone could occasionally experience loneliness and hence, desire for accompaniment and love. The author wants to encourage them to cry out and ask for help, which could be just a call or a talk with someone who cares.

The poem is an acrostic structure because the poem contains a word puzzle, the starting letters of the first words in each line comprise the word "isolated," which in return represents the poem’s theme. The structure adds to the significance of the theme, making a vivid imagery of the author’s message.
