Face the Truth
I do love you…or I did.
The reason I ended it is…
I knew you were in too deep,
It wasn’t real love.
And if it didn’t end soon,
It would hurt so much more.
But it depresses me who you are now…
Who you grew up to be.
If the people you hang out with now,
Is who you are at the moment?
You should hate me now.
They do.
So, I guess whether I like it or not,
You’ve changed, we’re opposites
And you don’t care about me
Let’s face it…
I’m in love with the old you.
