Untitled
I gaze over
and look into his eyes
decpetion fills then
mixed in with tons of lies
they shine with tears
that have yet to be shed
sometimes he wonders
if he should be alive or dead
he has tons of friends
but i feel he hasn't yet
found a place where
all his needs are met
unspoken promises broken
words like sharpened swords
a girl playing on him
sickened guitar chords
darkness is all i see
as his eyes move away
I sit there and all i can do
is wait till he finds light one day
until then i'll be gazing
deep into the dark abyss
of broken promises, hate
depression and lonelyness

I loved this stanza..."unspoken promises broken
words like sharpened swords
a girl playing on him
sickened guitar chords"
Very powerful words.
