My view of Enchanted Island
The water lays calm and shines like the sun.
Peaceful nothing has touched it in years.
Logs lay on the sand, since no one can remember,
no sign of life anywhere close.
Birds circling confused as to what's going on,
“Why is it so cold there?” they think flying away.
Large mountains with nothing on them,
everything wiped out from the blizzard 50 years ago.
Frozen rocks and trees are all that stand.
The sky pink just at sunset,
no one knows what the yellow rocks are.
People say it's too hard to get by to find out.
