In a Dark Time, By Madeline Hamilton
In a Dark Time, I sat alone,
As my emotions felt like they’d blown
In a Dark Time, It felt like no one was there,
Like a friend that’s just a spare share.
In a Dark Time, Someone came up to me.
As I was tearing at the seam.
In a Dark Time, I’m glad they came,
Or I’d never be the same.

I would've redone this poem, but I no longer have access to it. But this poem was when I was in a very sad state. (mentally)
