"Another Day, Another Win."

Death.

Vanquish, demise.

Enduring, destroying, collapsing.

He cant be gone.

Denial.

Death.

Pain, Dread.

Fighting, crying, trying.

I’m destroying my lungs.

Anger.

Death.

Ending, sacrifice.

Thinking, praying, finishing.

Giving up my mortality.

Bargaining.

Death.

Lightless, Hopeless.

Darkening, Frightening, Troubling.

I’m dying like Romeo.

Depression.

Death.

Hope, Passionate.

Fighting, Wishing, Changing.

I finally understand life.

Acceptance.

This poem is about a boy that is going through the loss of a loved one, he is going through the five stages of grief and eventually copes with the loss. This poem is a short cinquain and I personally like it more than any of my other poems.
