Tired, and

Increasingly bored of my situation, a failed

Meditation, I never was good at sitting still.

Everything in my head is rushing about,

Grasping for my attention, no

Organization, no discipline to my thoughts 

Especially when all I’m supposed to do is

Sit and 

Breathe; my legs are  

Yelling “get up and

Stretch, run, move around” but I’m not allowed that 

Option, my task is to bask in the

Silence of my mind, body, and environment, 

Listening to my heartbeat slow 

Or clearing my brain of all its clutter. 

Whether or not this is even possible, it’s starting to 

Look like I won’t succeed, I’ve been sitting here for a   

Year and it’s only been two minutes.
