Enchanted Heart-Fearful Mind
I was walking in the park
With fear and panic
Racing through my heart
When suddenly my eyes met hers,
Eyes with a dazzling hazel color,
A reflection of the love
That I had for her
The sun was sinking
In the lap of the hills
While I was thinking
With an uncontrolled will,
With the hope to be with her
While my heart was thrilled,
Though tomorrow was still a blur.
The abysmal arrow of dilemma
Abruptly struck my mind and heart
An internal conflict,
A sudden war
To whom should I listen?
The servant of emotions
Or of the rational morale?
As my soul
Battled out the war,
I lifted my eyes
To search for my star
I searched across the land
Beneath the trees, in the clouds
But she was nowhere to be found
