Who Are You?


Lonely genius,
Ticking clock.
Over the top,
Under the influence.
Risk takers,
Decision makers.

Teenage queen, the rarely seen.


Struggling student,
Accomplished athlete.
Not so smart, not so social.

The broken nose, the heartless clown.

Sleazy business,
Conniving thief.
Sleepless nights,
Ringing bell.

The talk the talk, the walk the walk.

Self made man,
Phony friend.

Human being.























You.

This is one of my favorite poems i have written just because i know a lot of high school students can really understand what I'm writing about and see these things in their daily life. It also helps you reflect on who you really are deep down inside your soul. I hope you enjoy it!

I really love this poem! Some people may not know it but there is definitely an identity crisis in the world. We get so wrapped up in our title that we forget there's a person beneath it. So, nice job! And keep writing!!!!!!!!!!
