Who is the one who we truly call Dad?
Is he the one who tucks us in at night?
The one who calls us when we’re out too late?
What about the one who calls us son?
Who is this Dad?
Is he the one who helped bring you into this world?
Is he the one who helped bring you up into what you are now?
Is he the drunk who beats you for no reason?
Is he the one who left you and your mom for some reason?
Does he truly love you?
Does he hate you?
Is he that in between dad?
Come to think of it.
Who is the one we truly call Mom?
