United We Fall MAG
to fool the neighbors
we drive by with cunning smiles and give off
mechanical waves
as soon as we enter our home
the fog machines turn on
we hide behind the lies
collapse between closed doors and
cry helplessly when we think no one's looking
it's all a constant struggle
a “minor” issue that has yet to be solved
we're no longer a family, but a household
of strangers
afraid to touch afraid to live or even love
there's nothing to fall back on besides the path
of broken glass and eggshells we've made
so once we fail and the battle is lost
we'll fall united
our blood shedding like red wine
