Library of life
All kinds of buildings
Reaching 50 stories high
And even more stories
From each girl and each guy.
I walk down 6th street,
a library of life.
I look in a window,
And see a soon to be wife.
Ladies try on dresses.
Look a little higher,
Open a new book,
See a chef over his fryer.
Over to the left
What do you see?
A group of workers
Shouting with glee.
This city is a library,
It’s streets the shelves.
If you don’t believe me
Go see it for yourselves.
