Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you
Bright are you, smile twinkling with the moon, never hushed by the night
Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.
In ashes, in ashes, what we all fall to-
Swift and lithe is death as it strikes- pray grace, and is
Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you.
Solace not found, til’ the hummingbird's song lays calm to ensue
Though all cannot last, the raven shrieks sorrow at the gods’ somber tears whilst the sun die away- implore
Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.
But roses all rot, days fade to memories of the dew
In fury, in anguish, yielding to mourn
Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you.
Angels, the angels, they protect what is had, only the few
Who bear their broken souls and plead mercy
Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.
Left in benign solitude, swallowed sorrow as the world is seen in blue
Sadness and dying, lonesome and crying, mourning seldom lets the heart find relief, for
Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you-
Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.
