Unlucky
Unfortunate,
Down on luck
Should’ve use it wisely,
When I was up
Pet the black cat
That crossed my path
Crossed under the ladder,
Opened the umbrella indoors,
All of that
Didn’t matter to me,
Thirteen’s my favorite number,
Superstition was my serendipity
But I poked the bear in its slumber,
And awoke a monstrosity
Of bad luck,
Shrouded in a veil of false security
Good things will happen,
Balanced with horrors,
Occasionally
Guess I’ve run out of luck,
Taking things for granted just
Seemed secure to me

A warning for those who take what may seem like “luck” for granted.
Everything in life comes at a price, and unfortunately some of us find that out in ways not as easy as others. Just because everything appears to be going your way, does not mean you’re immortal, or blessed by chance. Laugh in the face of Fate, and she will just laugh back.
