My Final Goodbye
Feeling my life complete
Holding you to my chest
I feel your soul retreat
I know I must put you to rest.
For you, so many tears
My world for two years
Has just been crushed
Why did it have to be so rushed?
Your urn engraved with care
You were taken far too soon
And though it hurts to stare
You’ll always be the stars to my moon.
Though I wish we had more time,
I have no regrets that you were mine.
