Poem of Death

In the shadows of night,

 death's cold embrace,

Whispers of sorrow,

tears on every face.

Gone is the light,

 swallowed by despair,

Echoes of loss linger in the air.

Silent screams pierce through the dark,

Aching hearts bear a heavy mark.

Memories fade,

like stars in the sky,

As we mourn those who said goodbye.

Grief's heavy burden,

 a weight to bear,

In the realm of death,

nothing seems fair.

But in the depths of sorrow's deep well,

Hope may rise,

 a tale to tell.

nothing seems fair

in the depths of sorrow's deep well

Hope may rise

 a tale to tell
