in my dreams you appear
and the remnants of our broken love
seem so clear
they take me back to a place
when all i needed to be happy
was to see your smiling face
but all the happy times
are just memories in my heart
and in reality im just fallin apart
you never knew i needed you
to give me strength
so i could make to another day
you turned away
i tried to get you to come back
to make you stay
but now you slowly drift away
no matter what you do
or what you put me through
i still love you
