I win
I’m not arrogant
I’m just the best you’ll never know
Because come on sweetheart your eyes will watch me go
And did you see that last sentence?
Well I thought it’d never fail, and hey…it hasn’t
Did you feel that pang of sorrow?
You’re taunted by my absence
And sure enough you’ll be back tomorrow
But I’ll walk away in silence
I’m sorry baby
You promised me red carpet
And hey, you can call me crazy
But I’m shining brighter than Charlotte
So I’ll have to pass your last request
Because I don’t walk across a carpet
I walk upon toilet paper
Because, honey, I’m it
You call me cocky
Yet some will call me lucky
When no, I’m so great that that with a slap from me
You’ll go home and say “damn am I lucky”
You want to try?
I’ll give you three reasons why
Anyone would want me to slap them until they cry
Reason one:
There’s no other girl who can compete with my endless glory
Reason two:
When your eyes are set on me your vision gets a bit blurry
Reason three:
No matter the occasion; I win. End of story.
