The world is just a knife
And it cuts you up until you’re almost gone
It cuts and bleeds you out till you’re dry
You lose yourself and pronounced dead.
But I’ve got some difference
To deflect the knife that is this hell
It can’t get at me
Can’t take me down.
This blood around me
Yes, you are dead
But I’m alive and not afraid
To keep on living and walk this world alone.
Honey, you can stay and be forgiven
I’ll give you the difference
This knife can’t cut you
And your blood is clean.
