A Poem 4 My Mother
I hear your voice
But I cannot see your face
Come out of the darkness
Into the light
I search for answers
But I am not getting anywhere
But closed doors
I long for your touch
Your soothing voice
To comfort my cries
And to dry my tears
I am crying out for you
You are the one that gave me
Life
But left me with
Pain and misery
I want to see your face
Hear your voice
And most of all
Hear you say
That you love me
And for me to say
The same thing
After all these years
I love you mom
Now when am I
Going to hear it from
You
I hope soon
