My Garden MAG
The broom can pick up the vase you threw
But the rose can't be put back together
Because some things can't be glued.
Maybe you should replant your roots
In someone else's garden.
Let someone else rain and shine on you.
Because I tried to be your sun
But you were never my moon.
You never grew for me or even opened up.
I ignored the weeds that grew around you,
I even pulled some out.
My knees are still dirty from all the times
I bent down to help you.
You undeniably pricked my innocent fingers
So many times,
But I always came back to replenish you.
Unrelinquished love closed the gate
And the stain won't come out of my knees.
