Rain MAG
I lay hypnotized,
As the pouring rain
Caresses me in the vast darkness.
Each tender drop is music to my ears.
Every plunge into a dark puddle
Sends little ringlets out,
Each one like a tiny finger,
Reaching, trying to grasp the unknown.
The quiet drumming lulls me to sleep,
As I lay in anticipation.
The soft darkness soothes my fears,
The low drumming of each drop
Echoes through my mind.
On this dark, lovely night,
Only those listeners who are true
Will hear the creator's magic song.
