Let Me...
Sometimes I want to drown in a song
It's like the lyrics can fix everything thats wrong
I want to swim in the notes that make up the sea
Forget the opinions that crush down on me
Its better to laugh and numb the real pain
Then reliving the moments again and again
So I'll drown in a song before i drown myself
Forget what's wrong; become someone else
Because it's easy to fly if you remember you have wings
Less likely to die if you forget everything
So turn up the music and forget the hard times
Its easy to sing it, just like its easy to rhyme
So let me sink under the ripples of words
Fall asleep in the moment and be silently cured
