Ode To Physics MAG
Oh, how much I love this class,
I only hope that I will pass.
For this class I can't stop yearning,
Because it's Physics I love learning.
At seven twenty-five Physics is scheduled to begin,
To my face then creeps a big grin.
I would never consider coming in late,
For to miss even a second I would hate.
So, when class starts at seven twenty-five,
It feels so good to be alive.
Those forty-five minute I love so much,
For they are filled with vectors and such.
At the end of class, at the sound of the bell,
I must leave this heaven and enter a hell.
Because the rest of the day just cannot compare,
And I am left with a feeling of total despair.
(Unless of course I have lab,
Then my day isn't as drab.)
The rest of my day crawls slowly on,
In the rest of my classes I can't help but yawn.
At the end of the day, twenty till two,
I rush to my home to see what problems I can do.
(My afternoon is really great,
When my teacher assigns more than eight.)
When bedtime finally rolls around,
I pray that in my dreams will be found,
Lots of cars with constant velocities,
And other such atrocities.

Oh Culomb, I know your law so well,
using it, it is so simple to tell,
the force between two point charges, no matter how far,
is dependent on their charge and how distant they are.
Electric field can tell you how strong a force would be,
or give you information about energy density.
They are not real, just a construct of the mind,
still it's hard to do physics without those imaginary lines.
Electric Potential Energy is easy to find,
if one will simply keep in mind,
the method to use, and apply some persistence,
take the integral of force with respect to distance.
Electric potential, or Voltage as some say,
is Electric Potential Energy, with charge taken away.
It's not a hard concept, but it involves some tricky math,
it is the integral of Electric field perpendicular along a path.
