His Great Demise
A boy alone – all day and night –
Ventures out into the light,
Seeking those who know it all,
Fighting off his people's fall.
But off he strays until he’s lost
Getting trampled, thrown and tossed
By fate’s unwilling tribulations,
Opening some new sensations.
All his wants become his needs;
To find the truth and make it bleed
Out through his heart, into his mind;
Flowing in until he’s blind.
Down he goes along the path
Unaware of Hades’ wrath.
A future torn, a bad surprise;
Ending with his great demise.
