Running
I am worthless speck of bone and skin
Strewn dizzily across a pink sunset
That mysteriously appears despite my sins
Shining sideways over my broken silhouette
I am an insignificant piece of this location
Painted with a steady hand and a free spirit
Moving like my body madly but with a sure destination
Running desperately in the last moments the world is lit
But running from what, my own selfish frights?
The world answers without a single sound
The birds have already taken flight
And left me alone with my thoughts on the ground
