My Favorite Book MAG
My favorite book sits on the table by my bed,
The tattered cover a candy apple red.
The pages yellowed, stained and torn,
For all the times it was read made it very worn.
Once I pick it up it's hard to put down,
It'll keep me busy forever, so I've found.
The book is something special, kind of like a friend,
It tells me secrets and is exciting till the end.
It is hard to count all the times it's been read,
All the times I've picked it up while lying in my bed.
All the baths I've had reading it,
And all the days I've spent seeing it.
So when I am lonely or in need,
My favorite book is always there for me to read.
