Thoughts of a Teenager

Many days flow by us
Many days some good some bad
Looked down on as a teenager;
The adults so eager
To show how those days that pass
Prove nothing but how low we are
And how we cannot even reach the set bar;
Thoughts of a teenager
“Why so low?”
“Why so looked down on?”
Good for nothing except to come into life
And bring down the next generation, generation down;
Thoughts of a teenager
So different that that
The happiness and life in most
Only yearning for someone true,
Someone to look to and someone to learn from.
