Rayon Sun
While I’m splendid in the sunlight,
Golden thunder, legs so bold
I must solemnly admit
I only sing in the cold.
For when my lungs are freezing,
And my ears clog with steel,
Can I really lose a tortured thought
And summon a patient feel.
But now my esophagus closes in,
And some bright new night’s due to begin.
She’s sealed my hands, the battle’s won…
I am trapped in the rays of a rayon sun.
