On a Mountain Path
On a Mountain Path
My future lies over those mountains
But where, I can not say
And when every town holds its beauty
The mountains hold true
So alone I may travel
This steep and winding path
But its not company I seek
Because something tells me
I’m not going to live this one down
For the mountains hold solid
And although my own feet may slip
The mountains will stay,
True to there beauty
So alone
I may walk this path
And up hill
The path may wind
But once I reach the peak
A star is what I’ll find
