Just outside the window
Just outside the window
the cold crows cherp.
All along the ground,
crunchy leaves lay still.
Slowly the fall in,
like a family moving into a summer cottage.
On the school grounds friends huddle together in their big winter coats to saty warm.
Later at home they lay still under their balnkets as they fall asleep to the sound of the cold crows cherping just outside their window.
