A Taste bud’s Sweet, Bitter, Sour, Spicy
Sweetness is not only in India’s “lassi”,
But also in receiving an extra warm quilt when it is 50 degrees out from the one you love
And the feeling you sense when a baby shows off his toothless grin
Bitterness is not only in South American’s “mate”,
But also in feeling wrongfully accused and therefore injustice
And the quality of a lonesome grouchy old lady who lives alone with nine cats
Sourness is not only in the Australian “Bush Lemon Tree”
But also in seeing an injured, helpless baby kitten meowing for its mom
And the feeling when you are just having one of those days
Spiciness is not only in China’s “Mapo Tofu”,
But also in possessing a snappy attitude
And the chemistry energetic and beautiful dancers experience
