One Voice
She woke up to the strumming of her favorite song;
On her favorite acoustic guitar.
But she couldn’t place the name to it,
Because it was something different,
But she knew it meant something more.
“Who could it be?”
She wondered as she was reluctant to open her eyes.
“Its me.”
As if he could read her mind.
The beat of the song went along with her heart,
And she could feel the vibrations speaking
Saying the emotions he wishes he could speak.
Guitar was his only way.
His closest way to tell her.
And she felt the same,
“Tell me…” she thought.
“I can’t live without you.”
Was whispered in one voice.
