“the violet hour”
the sky is falling
and I wish you were here
will I have to will the storm alone
running in the wrong direction
hiding out in the open
angels call me to reconsider
demons mock my every step
horizon meets violet skies
just like always
but somehow brighter
how I wish you were here
the city's all gone dark
as the world falls apart
and as I tread to the end
what a beautiful sunset
