The Persistence of Memory
Inspired by: Salvador Dali's Persistence of Memory
We are but ants on a golden watch,
Crawling through our lively way.
Our lives are short, and meaningless.
Just one more notch on the belt of time.
For Time, time is imeasurable.
One life time is like a second,
One century is like a day,
And nothing is forever.
When those you knew are gone,
And memories still persist.
Know that your life wa nothing,
And to time, your life was small.
Remember that nothing lasts,
Except for time itself,
And we are all ants on a golden watch,
And time will melt away.
