Seared Rain
How can a divorce destroy a family?
No one could see right through those empty lies,
but now I’m open to the world so wrong,
to break right through those hopeless ties,
I’ll never be beaten, I will be strong,
No lost love between these lives,
when the town knows it all,
look into those teary eyes,
our spirits will not take a fall,
We’re like the antidote,
here as a cure to one another,
our bonds of strength set as we grew,
I, my sister, and brothers.
This rain won’t go away,
forever it is here to stay,
but maybe this can be beautiful,
after all.
