Kindred to the core.
Nestled amongst the ascending
dewdrops she sheds a tear to replace the
moisture the velvety petal needs to survive in
this harsh world, a beacon of loveliness to capture the
beauty of crimson and gold and lilac dotting the
meadow of blossoms scattered in an
empty field
Eve herself could not have wanted
a more perfect garden—silent and still
full of poems waiting
to be penned by hopeful muses
cloaked in sheets of rain.
